How to break through the bottleneck of Yoga practice?

After practicing yoga for a period of time, you will develop your own set of patterns and practice in your own comfortable way. However, when you are too comfortable, it will be difficult to improve.

"Aren't you comfortable with yoga? Aren't you going to relax? to nourish the mind of the body" . Yes, that's true of yoga. But yoga is also a tool for our growth and transformation. When we jump out of our comfortable model and challenge our bodies and minds, change will happen.


1. Back to the foundation, inward

If you are an experienced yoga practitioner, you may be very likely to practice the advanced form of an old teacher's class. I think you should go back to every body and start to practice.

By reducing some physical exercises, you may begin to focus on the subtle differences within. Focus on how breathing flows and how the body feels in this pose.


2. To be a pose you don't like, don't run away.

Sometimes, you really like or don't like a pose. In fact, this is just the "ego" in the blame. We like to be the asana we are good at, and we don't like or even run away from the pose we are not good at.

In turn, when you go to embrace the body pose that you don't like, go to the state of your present, what will happen? You may find that there is a new way to help you in the body, body and mind.

I didn't like the soldier pose before, and I like it now, because I embrace the feeling of the leg shaking, I don't worry that the back leg is not enough, even if I'm tired and smiling. Before that, I've been trying to make the body a standard "T", and it's going to take the chin down and the breathing is not smooth.


3. Sit in a different location

If you are like me (I like to sit in the front and left of the classroom in every class), you will find how difficult it is to make this change, but when you change your position, it will really change.

You don't need to change every class, but with awareness to do it, practice is not persistent.


4. Try a new teacher's course

I know, sometimes you go to class and find that the teacher has changed. Just like not clinging to a specific position in the classroom, we can't stick to a teacher.

There are many advantages to practicing with the same teacher, but each yoga teacher has his or her own characteristics, so try a new teacher and you may learn something different.


5 . Try a new type of yoga

I know, you may have used to some kind of yoga practice. Yoga has many kinds, and there are many advantages.

For example, for example, if you like to practice streaming yoga or power yoga, you'll become more powerful and adapt to the dynamic yoga practice, so you can try yin yoga or repair yoga.

Or, if you've never tried to recite, you can try the Kundalini course. You may find that it's not your dish, but try and learn yoga from different angles.
